Visa Fees


Besides the visa application fee of $131.00, payable in advance at any of the authorized Citibank branches , which must be paid by all applicants (with the exception of A- and G-visa applicants) the following visa fees apply. Please note that the application fee must be paid in reais equivalent, though visa fees may be paid in dollars, reais equivalent, or by credit card.

*The Citibank clerk issuing the Visa Application Fee receipt will write the visa applicant's name and passport number on the receipt. Receipts without the applicant's name and passport number written on them will not be accepted.
*These fees are for Brazilian passport holders only, fees for other nationals will vary.
*All fees listed in US Dollars.
*The application fee must be paid in advance in Reais equivalent at the authorized Citibank branches.
*All other visa fees may be paid in dollars, reais equivalent or credit card at the Consulate cashier. In Recife all payments must be paid in cash only (Reais).

**Starting effective March 08, 2005.
