Journal of January 18, 2004 - Nebraska

Abner

The day today was very different from last Sunday. This time we didn't go to church in the morning. We stood at home and woke-up late. We had a brunch (breakfast and lunch) around 11 a.m. and, in the afternoon, we went to the mall. It was fun. We wanted to buy everything, since most of the stores were on sale. We left the mall with many bargains.

In the evening, we gathered the group and went to an Italian restaurant, the Valentino's. Later, we went home and Paulo, myself and the other boys played basketball, pool, and video game. It was a very nice day, because we took the opportunity to buy gifts for our families and friends. I wish to thank God, first, and everyone who enabled us to be here, and specially our host families and friends for a wonderful time. Regards to all,

Abner
